Distributor Inventory
landplan.io keeps a catalog of septic products (tanks, pipe, chambers, media, treatment units) and of the manufacturers and distributors that sell them, with their prices, stock and delivery areas. The design tools use it: the tanks you pick are real products sold near the site, and each part can have the distributor you will buy it from.
Find a local distributor
Each tank, pipe or other product in your design can have a distributor: the company you will buy it from. Its price goes into the cost estimate.
- Select the feature on the map, for example a tank or a pipe.
- In its properties, the product card shows the product. Click Find a distributor (or Choose a distributor when distributors list it, or Change to change the one chosen).
- Select a Distributor opens with the distributors that list the product, measured from the feature.
- Click Select on the distributor. A message says it is now the feature's distributor.

Search distributors or places filters the list, and Refresh distributors loads it again. Click Who else sells it? to look for the same product under another listing, from another manufacturer or distributor.
A distributor with no price for the product can't be selected. A pipe needs its product first: choose its diameter and material, then its distributor. A row marked Sponsored is a paid listing of a similar product near the feature; it never changes your design unless you choose it.
Products and companies
The catalog has its own pages, open to anyone. Open them from the app menu, under Products & systems:

A product's page has its pictures and documents, its specifications, Where to buy (the distributors, their prices and delivery), the price trend and similar products. Click Use in design to use the product on your map: the next time you add a tank of that type, it is listed first in the tank picker.
A company's page lists its products and its inventory. To list your company's products, or to keep your inventory up to date, your account has to be a representative of the company. See Company Representative.
Products in your design
The design tools pick from the catalog, so the parts of your design are products you can buy near the site.
- Tanks. When you add a tank, the picker lists the tanks of that type sold near the spot, the nearest first, with their capacity, prices, distance and whether the distributor delivers there. See Add a tank.
- Pumps. Details picks a pump that fits the pressure network, and Change pump lists the others that fit. See Pressure & Pump.
- Other parts. Choose the distributor of a tank, a pipe or another product on the feature. See Find a local distributor.
- Your defaults. In Design setup, set the products, options and prices your designs start with, and your main distributor. Its tanks are marked Main distributor in the picker. See Main distributor.
No product near the site? Add a generic tank with its size instead, and its price can be entered in its properties.
