Create Buffers ​

There are sometimes when you want to show an isolation distance surrounding a feature. Like a specific radius around a water well, etc.

NewSeptic provides 2 ways to create a buffer around a feature

Using the Buffer Tool ​

In the Basic Toolset, there is a Buffer Tool. To use the tool, find and click on the tool

Next provide a name for the buffer and a radius distance

Right-click over any feature ​

In the map view window, right-click over top of the feature you would like to add a buffer. This will bring up the right-click menu, which you should be able to find the feature you would like to add a buffer.

Click on that feature to open the feature menu options. Next, click create buffer.

Next provide a name for the buffer and a radius distance
