Septic Cost Estimates Overview

landplan is a software for rapid land planning with a focus on onsite wastewater treatment system design.

A large component of effective planning is determining which system costs will prohibit a specific layout.

landplan seeks to allow rapid cost estimates through our Price Book, Distributor Inventory, Drawing Tools, and Calculator program.

When you draw components from our Septic Tools, many of the components also have a price associated with the component type.

Sewer Main Price

For example, Pipe components have a price per unit and unit value. This means you can store a price you pay for your piping. If you buy pipe for $3.46 per 1 ft, you can save this to your "Price Book"

Our Price Book is a term for the saved prices you have for your materials you commonly used. This information is only visible to you when you save these dafault prices.

All these material prices are stored with your drawn features. Once you have a complete drawn onsite wastewater treatment system, you can click on the Calculator button. To learn more about the Calculator, you can click here: Calculator

Once the Calculator popup is open, click on the Cost Tab. Here you can view the costs of materials, with some volumes being estimated from your drawn components, and others pulling the pricing of products from your Price Book

From this form you can change volumes, add fees and subcontractors, add labor costs, add terms and conditions, and generate a PDF estimate.
