Soil Tools Overview ​

We built this software for soil evaluators to be able to easily enter soil data from the field through the use of our classification forms.

Soil evaluators also need good mapping tools to include geographic referenced data. This includes plotting soil points, polygon boundaries, etc.

Whether you are a soil evaluator doesn't matter. We also realize that contractors may need to enter in the soil data from a paper or PDF report for analysis.

The general process is as follows:

1. Add soil tests or Copy an existing soil test from the Soils Tab

2. Move the soil tests to where they appear on the map, or enter the GPS coordinates from a report

After your soil data is entered, you can continue to generate a soil based onsite wastewater treatment plan, or you can do a few things:

a. Share your map digitally via the share interface: Share your Map Digitally

b. Generate a PDF Map via the Print View interface: Print a PDF Map

c. Generate a PDF Soil Report via the Soil Tab interface: Print a Soil PDF Report
