Septic Isolation Distances ​

Most regulatory jurisdiction requires septic components to be planned and installed at specific distances from specifically named isolation features.

landplan.io handles isolation distance requirements with our create isolation feature tool. The goal is to populate a relevant list of site features specifically named in the local regulations. Sometimes it gets more complicated, but generally, we provide a list of categories of site features identified in the regulations. When you draw the feature on the map, upon completion a buffer with the required isolation distance is generated.

To use the tool, find and click on the create isolation feature tool on the right panel septic toolset. This will bring up a dialog window, showing a list of features for isolation.
