Septic Spray System Tool
Some areas allow a spray system: the treated effluent is sprayed over the ground by spray heads, instead of going into trenches. The Spray zone tool adds the spray heads of one zone, up to four at a time, each with the spray pattern of its nozzle. Add as many zones as the system needs.

Add a spray zone
- Click Tools in the top bar, open Septic design, and click Spray zone in the System group (Add Spray Zone: click the map where it goes).
- Click the map where the zone goes. Add Spray Zone and its spray patterns opens.
- Pick the nozzle and set the arcs of the spray heads (see The spray zone form).
- Click Add Spray Zone.
The spray heads are drawn near the spot you clicked, a little apart, each with its spray pattern: a circle, or the arc of a circle, of the nozzle's radius. Move and turn them into place with the edit tools.

| Water source | What the heads spray: Non-potable water (the default: septic effluent) or Potable water (a lawn watered with city or well water). |
Water source is saved with the spray patterns, so the plan shows which heads spray effluent.
Clear form (the broom, at the top of the form) empties the nozzle, the arcs, the radius, the PSI and the flow, so you can start the zone again. It keeps the required area and the water source.

Clear all drawn spray zones
To take every spray zone off the map, open the menu of its layer in Layers (right-click the layer, or click its three dots) and choose Clear all features…. See Map Layers.
