Data map

The data map shows projects and everything drawn on their maps (tanks, mains, beds and trenches, parcel lines, soil tests...) on one map, with the numbers behind them.

WhereOpens on
Menu › Work › My dataMy data: your own projects and features
Organization › Data mapOrganization: every project of your organization (Owners, Admins and members given its analytics; other members see My data)
Admin › Design data (LandPlan admins)All of LandPlan: every project ever created

The switch at the top moves between the scopes you may see: My data, Organization and All of LandPlan.

Dates and filters

The buttons at the top pick when the projects were created: This week, This month, This year, All time or Custom… (two days). Under them:

FilterWhat it does
State, CountyOnly one state or county. Picking a county zooms the map to it
OrganizationLandPlan admins: only one organization
MemberOrganization admins and LandPlan admins: only one member's projects
StatusComplete, Open, Overdue or Canceled
System typeOnly projects designing that system (Mound, Trench, Drip...)
More filtersThe exact statuses of your status list

The filters you set show as chips under them: × removes one, Reset all removes them all. They stay in the page's address, so a link opens the same view (the map's place too).

The numbers

  • Projects created, with the change from the period before (last week, last month, last year)
  • Completed: the share of those projects that are complete now
  • Overdue: open projects past their due date
  • Features drawn and Soil tests, with soil tests per project

Beside the map: projects created per week, month or year (the period that isn't over yet is lighter), completion with the median time to complete, and the top counties (or states). Under it: the work done by feature type and, for organization admins and LandPlan admins, the members (LandPlan admins can switch to the organizations). Click a county, member or organization to filter to it.

Complete and canceled follow the closed statuses of your status list (Projects › Statuses). The time to complete counts projects completed since 12 October 2026, when LandPlan started keeping the day a status changes.

The map

Zoomed out, numbered circles group nearby projects; a single project is a dot. Color by colours the dots by Status (complete, open, overdue, canceled), System type or not at all (Density). Counties are shaded by how many projects they hold. The Legend says what the colours mean.

From street level the map shows what was drawn: parcel lines, buildings, septic tanks, mains, beds and trenches, soil tests and more. Layers picks which (nine of the fourteen groups at first, Show all for every one) and turns on aerial imagery. The column beside the map then shows what is in view: its projects, features and soil tests, the projects (click one to go to it) and three readings of the soil tests there: loading rate of 0.6 gpd/ft² or more, a seasonal water table under 24 inches, a restrictive layer.

Click a dot or a drawn feature for its project: status, system, owner, when it was created and completed, what is on its map, and Open project.
