What a septic designer does

A septic designer works out the system a site needs before anything is dug: they evaluate the soil (or read the soil report), size the tank and the drain field for the house, pick the system type the county allows (conventional, mound, aerobic and drip, and others), lay it out on the parcel with the setbacks from wells, buildings and property lines, and draw the plan the health department reviews for the permit.

How designers work on landplan.io
