A Platform for Land Planning

landplan.io originally started as a process to plan onsite wastewater treatment systems, commonly termed septic systems.

We knew septic system planning should be integrated with other land planning processes, but really assumed that it was too difficult to link land planning agencies together under one platform.

We knew a simple map platform was key, with fast load times, and limited to smaller project sizes. There are big land planning projects we know, but landplan.io focuses initially on small lot planning.

Working in this industry for decades has made us realize that effective communication between parties does not have to be disjointed and static paper based.

We designed the workflows built into the software to allow easier facilitation between land planning parties, including land surveyors, local regulators, soil evalutors, septic planners/installation contractors, home builders/architects, landscape designers/landscapers, water systems planners/installation contractors, and homeowners. We are continually building bridges between all these parties to provide an effective and accurate planning platform for collaboration.
